Thanks for the link Gary. That's really interesting. I have certainly
noticed poorer than expected germination and fruit setting in certain plants
since starting a vegetable garden here in SW France. We seem to have many
different types of bees, but not necessarily the right species in the right
quantiies to coincide with flowering. I am intending to start some honey bee
hives next spring to ease the problem, but will also look into how I can
encourage the wild species that are here.
