That's interesting.  The relatively commonly available clone of a
white flowered Ox. purpurea in NZ is slow to reproduce for me.
The bulbs get bigger but don't seem to divide readily.

A new (to me) clone (U4a) seems to be reproducing nicely though,
over the few years I've had it.
