[pbs] Xerophyta sprouting?

Dear Leo,

I looked through my archives to see if anyone has ever written about this 
and found something from Will Ashburner (Australia) from 1998. It is not 
species specific however.

He wrote: "They are rather spectacular. ...They are something that likes to 
be dried off completely till they look dead and then watered, whence they 
burst into abundant growth and flower.  Hence the name resurrection 
plant.  It takes courage to dry a plant off to death."

Also a note from Rachel Saunders from about that time: " All are very showy 
but quite difficult to grow."

Are you saying yours have remained dormant since you acquired it? Or have 
you raised it from seed?
