I just added this photo to the Lachenalia page on the wiki. I'm having so much fun sharing my photos with the group, now that I know how. Ann Marie http://www.ibiblio.org/pbs/pbswiki/files/Lachenalia.bulbifera.5.03.JPG

I finally got a chance last night to put some more pictures on the
Lachenalia wiki page. I have really enjoyed mine this year. They are
finally fading, but it has been a long run starting in the fall (they are
now blooming in the southern hemisphere). I had a couple bloom for the
first time this year from seed and that is always very satisfying. I
especially liked Lachenalia purpureocaerulea (I see the Cape Encyclopedia
leaves the hyphen out) and L. nervosa (syn. Lachenalia latifolia.) Don
Journet, if you are reading are those names the ones to use now? We are
trying to have correct spellings on the wiki. When people search for a
plant on Google names and spellings are critical. Earlier I enjoyed
Lachenalia aloides var. aurea which bloomed for such a long time, but none
of the many pictures I got Bob to take really did it justice. There are
some other new pictures there: Lachenalia comptonii which had hairy leaves
(not pictured) L. elegans var. suaveolens, L. namaquensis, and L. rosea.
