plastic mesh bags to plant in

Fruits and vegetables are sometimes sold in brightly coloured plastic
mesh sacks with one end stapled and the top end closed with a
twist-tie or small square of slit plastic. I've been saving them for
planting my bulbs in when I get my bulb frame built.
My collection so far:
BC Hothouse tomatoes on the vine (which are sold as far south as
California, and I don't know how far east) - green "knitted" mesh
that is quite stretchy. Unstretched, the tube is 13 cm across (5
inches)
I have diamond-patterned red mesh that is 23 cm across, heavier
purple and yellow mesh, and small onion sacks (these are large
compared to the others, but hold only a couple of kg of onions.)
I guess you could eat your way to a collection, and colour-code your
bulbs. If you have a big bulb collection, that could take a long time
unless you ask all your friends to save bags too. The best would be
to buy a big length of mesh tubing and cut the lengths to suit the
number of bulbs. Anyone know a source?
