[nafex] Container-Grown Bramble Berries (Chris Carnevale)

In San Diego I planted raspberries in pots to keep them from spreading, 
as I don't like to
weed out the thorny ones as they spread. However, in a short time the 
roots went down
and out the bottom of the pots and spread a lot. To keep that from 
happening I now keep
any thorned-berry plant in pots raised with space above the ground.
