[NAFEX] miniature peach trees

Not an answer to your question, but I budded some plum and peach on Prunus 
Besseyi two summers ago.  They really took off last summer, and may well set 
fruit this year.  Although reported to be short-lived and with small fruit 
size, the compactness (supposedly grow to small bush size) and speed of 
development has really interested me.  It will be interesting to see what 
happens over the next couple of years.
