[NAFEX] Alan's comments...

The four-leafed clover seed sold by Parks was a variant of ordinary
white clover. It mostly grew ordinary clover leaves, but had an
unusually high frequency of leaves with four leaflets. I planted it
when the kids were small, and for several years the back yard yielded
a couple of four-leafed clovers (that were found) each summer. Those
clover plants were a different strain from the rest of the white
clover in my yard (a little larger, both stems and leaves) but were
certainly white clover. It was a fun novelty, and is probably still
available.
