Dear Jim,
I'm not too sure about the applicability, but would still wish to suggest the use of "Waste" / 2nd. Grade "Cinnamon"!
I have just used it around the root areas of some Apples & Pears up in the Hills, where Fungus does cause some deep concern.
Actually, I chose this route, 'cos Cinnamon is non-toxic, and qualifies with flying colours as an "Organic" Anti-Fungal!
I would get to see the results after the spring blooms are out! till then, I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
