A press only works with certain types of grapes. Try pressing Concord
and types like it, with slipskins and slippery, mucilaginous pulp. If
you use a bag, the pulp quickly gums the bag. Use a type with open
slats and the grapes squirt out the openings. Regular wine grapes are
much juicier and less prone to gumming a bag, and they compress more
readily.
If you juice Concord types, they usually have to be broken up very
well. A blender on low speeds to prevent breaking seeds is a good
idea.
This is all written down, plus a lot more, in a book now in production.

Check out a couple of Winemaking Supply houses on the Web.

Also look at Ebay.

Get yourself a decent one or your Fun will turn into Tedium.

You can sell it later if you get tired of it.
