If the nest is somewhere that water isn't a problem, get a hose and
spray large amounts of water at it; using as high pressure a nozzle as
is practical. The wasps will (at least in my experience) not be likely
to connect the person behind the hose with the sudden flood, and most
of them will in any case be briefly too wet to fly well. You may be
able to knock the nest down with the water spray; if not, if you do
this every day for a while, you'll eventually disrupt operations enough
for them to either give up and go elsewhere or gradually die off.
Use extra caution if you're allergic, of course. You probably won't get
stung doing this; but it's not absolutely impossible.
