And if it's not bad for some crops, I know the extended heat is bad for the

The crazy weather we're having makes me wonder how it's affecting 
agricultural industry, esp. that in the San Joaquin Valley. I have enough 
trouble trying to keep my backyard plants alive and I'm located in normally 
mild Berkeley, CA.  Anyone have any news on which harvests are in jeopardy.

I have to say I haven't tasted a really good peach all summer.  Our late 
rains here messed everything up.
