[NAFEX] augers

Just an Idea. Would it make sense to weld one or more small piece of metal
to the auger so that they extend an inch or so beyond the sides of the hole?
This would rough up the sides of the hole in clayey soils, I think. They
could be cut off when the auger is needed for another purpose.
