Where are you located? Suggest starting with www.usrider.com (horse trailer
road service) and www.tlaer.org which should be referenced on their site.
Spelling may be off. Dr. Gimmenez of Clemson U. teaches a course in large
animal rescue around the country.
Federal mandate now requires planning for livestock emergencies. There
should be a State Animal Rescue Team (SART) and County level organizations
(CART). In NJ 9-1-1 centers are supposed to have a list of responder vets
for highway accidents. PA has a horse trailer extrication course through
the fire academy, NJ had one for EMT's.
