Just a brief word for those of us that might have cavaver sensitive horses, over training could put your horse in quite the oppisite frame of mind. Like anything else, in training, our horses can learn to become insensative or unreactive to certain stimuli.

Just like horses become hard mouth to an abusive rider...the nose can be taught to over look use for given situations be it inadvertantly or intentional.

The question becomes then, how to keep the horse sharp for the intended use.
