[Market-farming] Deer Fencing

I have no clue why we don't have more deer issues, they walk right
through/past the garden daily. We have a family of 4 living in a little
wooded area within site of the house and at times have seen up to 8 in
various places on the farm. So far they've managed to eat/taste/try 4
cabbage leaves and left 1/2 of one of those unfinished. I know it isn't
because our stuff doesn't taste good ; )). I can only suspect that because
we have a dog, and the hayfields surrounding us for great grazing, and that
there are active feeding coyotes in this valley may be why. I really don't
want to have to bother with deer fencing as it would be near impossible with
these steep hills. my heart goes out to those who have to deal with
this...funny/ironic those of you closer to populated areas have more
problems than us living out in the country.
