Hi Makenna,
I just remembered this resource in which you might be interested:
http://www.plamondon.com/freerange.html He has a really good free
newsletter and alot of resources about doing chickens for eggs and pasture
poultry. The sign-up is at the very top of this web page on the right. I
just forwarded to your email address his last newsletter, sent out early
April so you can see for yourself.

Subject: [Market-farming] Thin egg shells...
My layers (hens) are producing thin-shelled eggs (some even without shells
altogether). I give them oyster shells for calcium, and they're free range,
so I'm wondering what else I can do to prevent this and increase minerals in
their diet, organically?
Also, does anyone have other good farm listservs I could join? Any advice
would be greatly appreciated.
