[Market-farming] cooler

If you only fill the cooler in the Fall and the rest of the time need fewer
sq.ft then perhaps you could build a movable insulated curtain to divide the
space and only cool the area you need at any one time.

Thanks for the responses! Our cooler is 12x26, almost twice the size of the
largest recommendation they give. Wonder if we'd need 2 acs and 2
Coolbots--guess I'd better ask them!

Liz,
We bought one 3 years ago. We had a building built, 10'X12' and insulated
extremely well. Use a room AC, and the coolbot. We can keep our building
down to 38 with no problems at all, and that is during the heat of summer.
We have many days of temps over 100 and this thing just keeps going.
This thing is amazing. As mentioned we've had ours for several years with no
problems at all.
We had looked for several years for a used walk in cooler that was
affordable. No luck. We saw this mentioned in Growing for Market and decided
it was worth a chance.
I'm so glad we did. We used no cooling, old refrigerators, etc... anything
to keep produce cool, and of course we had losses. Now, we have virtually no
losses at all.
If you already have a cooler and can rig this up to work, you are already
money ahead.
