[Market-farming] cooler

I just spoke to a grower across town from me who has one and loves it. She
said the only trouble she had was when her hubbie ignored the advice not to
run an old A/C unit on it instead of getting a new one. As soon as he caved
in it worked well. They drop the temps to the low 40s.

Liz, we look at those some time ago. But my thoughts were I could not take
the chance. I could not find any one that had used it. So I just bit the
bullet and bought a new system for our cooler. At times we have several
thousand dollars in produce stored. I wish I knew for sure. Interesting.

Has anyone tried one of these and did it work? We've got an old large
walk-in cooler that though it no longer works, we want to retrofit with a
room ac unit, and this "gizmo" sounds perfect.
