Would hay with lots of clover in it make hot

I would think that drying it to hay would be an un necessary step. BUT,
this might not be a good year to prove that as farmers in New England are
wondering just what the hell they will feed the
many cattle in this area, and \ even more so the horse owners that are
finding
that there will be no horse quality hay for sale inthe area this year.
We have been working when possible to keep equipment afloat in the fields
but nearly half the first hay crop is still in the field. Corn for silage
and grain is
under water and dying in the field. And ionches more rain is forcast for
this week.
Not suggesting that you get into gouging or PBS pricing but every bale of
usable hay is going to be needed in New England this winter.
