[Market-farming] Anyone want tomatoes?

We have seven families that do workshares with us and part of what
they are waiting for is large amounts of tomatoes to can.

I highly recommend looking into this especially with the economy in
the take like it is. Unemployment is 11.3% here in the Cincinnati
area and rising. Three of our workers are exceptional. One of them
is a full-time violinist with the local symphony. Free food and a
chance to work out without having to actually pay for a gym
membership...in return after a couple hours of good hands on training,
you get four to five hours of labor out of each and it makes a HUGE
amount of difference, especially from the ones that REALLY enjoy doing
it.

I sell at a single market and a restaurant and price between 2.00 and
4.00 a pound depending on the type.

Same deal with squash and cucumbers. Almost nothing goes to waste
save what gets a bit taken out of it by a raccoon or turtle.
