[Market-farming] Overwintering root crops

I am a new farmer to the list, in Vermont. 




Question:




Have any of you ever left root crops over winter ? 

Garlic maybe, onions ?

I'm so sorry for your loss, and for Marie's loss as well.  

We have a lassie-type collie too, he's a wonderful dog.  I would have
another one in a heartbeat.
