Fresh eggs if they are really fresh don't need to be cooled. I was in the small scale egg business for thirty years and stored eggs at room temperature and never had problems. Its peoples warped perceptions of freshness that lead to cooling. Next eggs will probably need irradiation. BTW nature designed the hens egg to be stored at 90 degrees for at least 21 days without spoiling... Bob.
