Acres USA just reprinted F. Newman Turner's books, Herdsmanship,
Fertility Farming, Fertility Pastures and his veterinary pamphlet.

The ideas and methods published there will reinforce all the good ideas
we have had and give some real 'aha!' moments to us all. The idea of
rebuilding fertility in farmed out land is so pertinent today. He did
it all without a chemical at all. He fed the land and the
microorganisms living therein.

Check out Acres USA. Pricey books at $30 or so each. Worth the
investment from the knowledge gained from a few pages.

They are also available from an Australian site for downloads free of
charge. <http://www.soilandhealth.org/01aglibrary/01aglibwelcome.html>
