Find out where your nearest U.S. Forestry office is and ask when they are going to have their next auction. You can get really heavy duty good but used government equipment at a very good price if you are a savvy bidder.

Folks, I really need a good wood chipper. I mean a REAL wood chipper, not a toy. One that can handle a minimum of 10" logs. Can anyone here recommend a good one? I'd prefer a pto driven one with a 3 point hookup, but am not limiting my options.
