[Market-farming] Wasps in lettuce?

I might risk sounding like an amateur here (and that's okay, because I am)
but I've encountered wasps in the greens at the current farm where I'm
working and I was told by the farmer that they're good. It's my
understanding that wasps eat other insects, not greens, and in that regard,
they're beneficial. The ones I come across are not aggressive at all; they
seem rather disoriented by my slicing and dicing, is all.

Occasionally I also come across this giant mosquito-like insects in the
chard that I was told aren't mosquitoes...They eat mosquitoes. So the enemy
of my enemy is my friend.

Best,
