Karen -

How is Dominica getting along after the huricane
last Aug/September?

Dominica sounds like a tropical nature island extraordinarre.

Roxann/Karen -

Garden hoses for irrigation are often used to take a sip
of drinking water on hot days, to fill livestock drinking
water, etc.

The garden hoses have funny chemical smells when you first
use them. I've seen warning labels on the garden hoses
from State of California that note carcinogenic chemicals
were used in the mfg process.

I've found "drinking water" quality garden hoses on rare
occassions. It says so on the label. They are much more
expensive. But they insure safety and you can sip water on
a hot day without worry.
