Keith Johnson, who for some reason unknown to him is currently unable to
post to this list, has asked me to forward this for him.

===============================================
Think of this plant as you would lambsquarters (Chenopodium alba & etc)
only instead of the green seed head with black seeds it has a red,
juicy, blandly-sweetish seed head with edible black seeds and leaves.
Plant is drought tolerant and can get to about 2ft high ±.

I also recommend chenopodium gigantea var magenta for multiple and
colorful, nutrient packed leaf harvests from a plant that can reach
12-15 ft.

I have a few pounds of seed if anyone wants some. It's one of my
favorite "weeds". Seeds are also edible and rich in complex proteins. It
will grow anywhere in disturbed soils.
