This is typical of the kind of nonsense NJ farmers have to put up with. A rural township in the northwestern part of the state being dominated by urban newcomers who were raised as I was, being taught that farmers were losers and rural life was a thing of the past have begun to regulate farmstands out of existence.
They want to ban roadside sales... no car parking on roads you must provide a parking lot...No selling off of wagons.... no selling from card tables under umbrellas... no structures can have tarp roofs like ez ups...All sales must be from within an enclosed building... No produce can be displayed outside the building... and no signs can be within 15 feet of road right of ways setting signs back 35-50 feet where nobody will see them...Bob.
