[Market-farming] Mandarin orange snits

I misspelled snitz. "Snitz" is a Pennsylvania Dutch word that refers to any
fruit or vegetable that has been sliced or divided into wedges. PA dutch
folks talk about apple snitzing. Another Pa dutch word I love is
"Schnellick". This means to forcefully whack someone behind the ear with
the forefinger snapped off the thumb. Many a misbehaving kid of Pa dutch
background has been schnellicked by his parents. A usually effective but
non injurious method of discipline. Hey, does anyone else have some Pa
dutch or other interesting words or phrases from their ethnic backgrounds
they would be willing to share?

> Marlin, what are Mandarin orange snits?

Mandarin oranges are widely available in most super markets and other big
box food stores. I've never seen them whole, only snitzed. They are highly
flavorful for being a canned food and boy do I have a weakness for them!
