at Home Deport recommended
Well, I wouldn't go to Home Depot for a computer in the first place. My
thoughts- thats a rock bottom price for a lab top. Video gobbles memory and
if you plan on doing presentations I'd pop for the better video card. My
eyes aren't what they use to be so I spend for a great display. I've had
mixed thoughts on memory. 256K is the minimum you need, I'd see if you could
double that. Find out now if that unit can fit more memory, otherwise its
usefulness would be very limited. Lastly check around for information on
that processor. Some are noted fro being power hogs and others for being
very frugal. Makes a difference if you are working on a plane or away from
power. Some units only last 2 hours or so. A great test of the unit is to
use it to watch a movie. You can check out the screen and see how fast it
sucks down the power.
