This is a good article on the new military.  It's not as negative as the
title suggests, instead being constructively critical.  The article is
long but worth reading.  I especially like the references to "alpha geeks"
within the Special Forces A-Teams.  I presume they are the "upgraded"
versions of the old communications specialists, but who knows; S.F. might
have added a new position to the teams.
