Regarding my previous mail, (did I mention I was once locked in a room doing
Site Achitecture Process Flowcharts for 6 hours? Aieeee!!!) I like the
following urls as starting points for an InterNetWorkers site:
For functionality and simplicity of design: http://www.rc3.org/
Specifically, the site always has something fresh to offer, and has a
nice archive. It would allow us to feature items where members appear in the
media - like Steve C's appearance in the N&O.
For fun and function, in a newsletter style: http://www.theonion.com/
Again, good layout, simple design, good archive. I'd simplify it for our
purposes. Also allows for in-depth items to be explored as features - like
the upcoming international forum, features written by members and profiles
of member sites/jobs.
For font and design (not navigation) I like: http://www.muttonbone.com/
Actually, this has nothing to do with what we're trying to accomplish.
Just had to send it along in the spirit of twisted fun...
