Quick survey -- picnic

We have available a big hay field that would be an excellent location for a
field party if it's mowed by June 11 -- which it should be. We have a
smaller field behind my house that hasn't yet met its destiny as horse
pasture; it has a much nicer (smoother) lawn situation which could serve as
a croquet or whatever field.... We're 10 minutes or so west of Carrboro.
(Farm country.) Beer, of course, would be welcome at either location,
although tents and sleeping bags are advised for those who wish to/tend to
overindulge. (It's a l o n g way back to the triangle if you're trying to
keep it together.) Dogs would be OK as long as they play nice with others
(we have two dogs ourselves) and don't chase cats.
