Feb. 19, 7:00pm: Book Club Discussion of We are Everywhere
The Book Club of Internationalist Books will be discussing We are
Everywhere on February 19, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at Internationalist Books &
Community Center, 405 W. Franklin St., Chapel Hill.
Edited by Notes from Nowhere, with a foreword by Naomi Klein, this
book is a collection of essays, photographs, and personal accounts from
people around the world who are actively participating in movements
opposing neo-liberalism and global capitalism. In the words of its
editor(s), We are Everywhere "falls somewhere between an activist anthology
and a grassroots history, agitational collage and direct action
manual." Come participate in a discussion about this engaging and
beautifully crafted book and the political movements that have engendered
it.
Of course, copies of this book are available for purchase at the
Internationalist. For more information about the Book Club, please contact
Phaedra Kelly or Matt Robinson at (919) 942-1740, or email us at
ibooks at internationalistbooks.org.
