Q.E.D. ;-)

I agree with Tim and Cory about the complexities of the impact of 
tribal* society mediated by law and technology on individuals.

And I agree with Cory about the impact of the "intellectual property" 
legal framework on tribal knowledge. Which is why I will recommend 
Ghosh's "CODE" again:
