[ibiblio-announce] Sad News - ibiblio contributor Ralph Kaplan has passed away

I'm highjacking Wanda's SILS announcement to give you the sad news that
Ralph Kaplan who was the force behind http://www.ceanational.org/ The
Correctional Education Association hosted on ibiblio.org has died. Wanda's
message has the only details that I know. I do know that Ralph's death was
untimely.

Ralph Kaplan, 1998 alumnus of the School of Information and Library Science
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Director of the
Learning Object Repository at North Carolina Community College System, has
passed away.

A memorial service is planned for 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, December 12th at
Apex Funeral Home. The address for the funeral home is 550 West Williams
Street, Apex, NC  27502 . Phone # 919-362-8233.
