Thanks for the info James, did not remember that broccoli could take as low as 20 degrees if hardened off.
At my age I think I need to figure out a better system of filing info in my brain.  It is getting way to crowded in there  :)))

  Jeane, we were talking about broccoli seedlings, were we not?  One does not 
  have to go by frost date for broccoli at any rate.  If the seedlings are 
  hardened off, they will withstand 20 degrees or colder with no problem.  It's hard 
  freeze you have to look out for with broccoli.  The last of the hard freezes is 
  likely behind us.
