[Homestead] Reusable Canning Jar Lids

These lids are *ancient* and, personally, I wouldn't buy them.  They were 
made by Stieg Mfg in Michigan.  The guy went out of business 25 years ago 
and is selling off the cases that he couldn't sell when he was in business 
back then.  Rubber gaskets that old are an ify proposition.  Also, unlike 
the Ball/Kerr lids, you don't have any way of "seeing" or "hearing" a seal. 
You have to trust your fingernail and ear by tapping the lids.

So, I definately wouldn't use them for pressure canning.  Some BWB might not 
be as ify.  Jams, jellies.
