Oh paleez! "distorted by CURRENT FDA managers" my arse! The whole routine
of bought and paid began with Reagan who fired the FDA director because he
wouldn't approve aspertame and replaced specifically with someone who would!
And, it's been down hill since then. All though, I will agree that the
latest group are the worst. However, that directly relates to Dumbya
approving the FDA being able to accept outside funding. The FDA has been in
the pocket of Merck and Monsanto ever since!
However, I am absolutely amazed that it is Repubs hollering about it. They
have conveniently looked the other way and refused to address the issue of
the outside funding and cute little games like the FDA approved (testing
chemicals on poor children in FL, for example) over the last 8 years.
