Great additional info Lynda. Have printed it out and will see if that tree is available in our area. Even with all our cold weather this winter we have not gotten below zero....close at 4 degrees above.
The cold frames seem do able too.

DH built a portable greenhouse type of thing. It is 4 hinged panels that
fold up and get stuck in the carport during the summer. I stick a Freecycle
window on top. He also did one of them from old wood framed windows and
those go together using door hinges when they are in use and come completely
apart when they aren't. They'd be way too heavy to move otherwise.
