As I prepared to plant my next batch of potatoes (this time Yukon
Gold-did not know that Wallyworld sold seed potatoes!!!) I thought about
Sue and her 'small potatoes'..I had a thought that maybe her potatoes
were small because the soil was too rich? Perhaps the vines grew well
but the potatoes did not? Just a late thought on that..
I finally got my peas in today..According to the Alamanac I'm planting
in Leo, which is a barren sign, BUT the moon astronomically is in
Cancer, a fertile sign. I saved some seed, but this should be an
interesting experiment.

"Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will
not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful people with talent. Genius
will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the
world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone
are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and always will solve
the problems of the human race"
