Nah, religion, gods, etc. have/had nothing to do with reason and everything
to do with control, superstitions/fear and explanations of things the
sheople didn't/couldn't understand.
The holocaust was all about control, superstitions/fear and explanations.
Not necessarily reasonable or even the truth. He gave them what they wanted
to hear. As does your list of the usual suspects.
