[Homestead] A Canadian perspective on our prez

Uuuh..., that wasn't me. I get in trouble for plenty of things that i
DO do or say. Please don't add things that someone else does or says.
;-)
Personally, I am surrounded by people who mis-pronounce things all the
time. All y'all southerners, for instance, even though you might be
quite brilliant, to my ears sound like complete "dufuses" when you
talk. I just learned to ignore it. You can't help being influenced
by where you learned to talk. Of course, those of us who grew up in
North Dakota pronounce everything correctly all the time, and just
can't understand why the rest of you can't get it right.
"W" included.
We just don't dwell on it.
Too busy keeping warm.

Oh, and you are right. She's hot. ;-)

C'mon Ray; we are just narrowly averting a defationary disaster which
could have
made the Great Depression look tame; we still don't know of the
inflationary
consequences in the near & long term future, ; the goverment has just
started
nationalizing corporations; But, you are worried about how that sweet
looking thing pronounces a word on the television??
Your life is good; if that is something , in this desparate world, t
hat
makes
you cringe; but I will tell you had to reach life perfection.
Pull an Elvis --- take your revolver , point at the middle of the
televion
screen, pull back the hammer, squeeze the trigger.

I' not ashing Gov. Palin here, but I noticed in the Gibson interview,
she mispronounces "nuclear" as "nucluer", just like Pres. Bush.
I've spent 7 1/2 years cringing over this. I sure hope this is one of
the things the Repubs mentor her on. I don't think I could take
another 8 to 16 years of this.
