[Homestead] apple harvest

Akka; I'd say pick one and taste it. Try them every week or so until
they taste ripe. My peaches ripened early this year; seemingly
overnight, they all ripened and started falling. Boy were they good this
year. Pears are ripe next here (real soon), then apples.
