Bev,
Something I started doing last year was using Plan Garden
online www.plangarden.com to plot out my beds, keep track
of when I planted and harvested. I used to try to do this
on paper, but paper doesn't fare well in our home (gets
lost, eaten by an animal, or splashed with unidentified
fluids, etc.). Today I was able to see it was time to
order onion sets for January planting. There's a way to
publish it online to share with others, but I haven't gone
that far yet.
As for the future, we are shopping around for more fruit
trees and I plan to air layer one of the figs and root
blackberry cuttings to propagate more. We are considering
growing grain. And we continue our Healthy Harvest group
meetings of sharing seeds, produce, etc. and will be
planting a little extra to sell at the Farmer's Market.
