I also have a brother who has Downe's Syndrome.?? Has never had a heart problem, and functions fairly well, with occasional assistance with stocking the fridge, and laundry.? I don't have any idea of the severity of the Palin childs condition, but physically, it's possible it could be very minor.?? I have even known downe's syndrome kids who are fairly intelligent, above average infact.?? Makes me wonder what those would have been like had they not had the extra chromosome.

One of my brothers has a downs syndrome child. It is a time-consuming endeavor.
There will probably be heart surgeries, etc., very soon, for the Governor's
child.

However, Gov. Palin does have, as her husband, a man willing to be a full time
dad, and she has other family support. I admire her for being able to do all
that she does.

I read , recently, about her changing her baby's diaper, I believe, right
before her debate. She could have hired someone to do that.

I don't know if she would be, in the long term a good president. But, since
Reagan, I don't think we have had a single good president (that is just my
opinion).

I do like the ideal of a smart, working person representing the people, as
opposed to our present monopoly of professional students, lawyers and
politicians . ...bobford
