What we should be doing is putting 'thousands of bankers and hedge fund managers and their political prostitutes in congress in Jail. Send a message that we will not put up with it anymore.
People likle Barney Frank , Chris Dodd, Charlie Rangel, Chuck Schumer (those are the ones I can think of, but any of them)should go to jail. Hell , they aren't even losing their committee chairmanships.
We should be asking Mr Raines to give back his 90 million dollars, before he is jailed. We should lock up every investment banker who participated in the orchestration of this mess.
Half of congress, wall street, and certain communities from New Jersey to Connecticut, should be under federal and state indictment.
We will send an 18 year old who stole a sixpack of beer or a pack of cigarettes to jail and tarnish his record forever. We will send a 22 yearold caught smokinmg pot and minding his own business, to jail , and tarnish his image forever.
These fllying monkey bankers and their political wh*res have ruined the country. No one even has to give back their money. The lesson everyone should learn is that the rules no longer matter.
The Constitution is ignored, and fast laws are passed to protect the monied and the priviledged. This country is really screwed up, and we keep electing the same type people, from the same backgrounds, with the same friends, and the same worldview, and expecting them to do something different.
If I had young children. I wouldn't teach them as I was taught, about honesty and righteousness, and fair play. Well, maybe, I would teach those lessons, but tell them they only applied with family and friends. Otherwise, I would teach them to make up the rules as they go. That's the way this country now works............bobford
