IMO, goose is like beef.  We eat the breasts of Canada geese and it is
like a filet mignon.
Roast goose is also very Swedish and we have eaten it for Christmas
dinner in the past.  I did pack the goose with apples and onions, but
found that it was nearly as greasy as duck. Duck is the greasiest fowl.
