[Homestead] electric shock for bites

MRSA is often mistaken for spider bites and or takes over as an
infection after an actual bite. I'd bet that this is what I have,
unfortunately. I do think this started with a bite, because I felt
something crawling on me, but now it's probably staph. The area has
shrunk a bit since this morning, red area smaller than a paper plate
now..erythromycin working, I guess. It doesn't look any closer to draining.
Since you can see the fang marks, yours probably started off with a
spider and then staph got in there. Staph is everywhere, and if you
were sleeping on the floor, I'd be suspicious. (We really need to break
you of that habit<g>) I usually carry wood on my arm and next to my body
in that very area, so I wouldn't be surprised if mine isn't MRSA, too,
although those wounds usually burst open, get nasty and drain, and mine
remains closed.
